Nagpur: For the past few days, there have been rumors in political circles that Devendra Fadnavis might become the national president of the BJP. However, on Friday in Nagpur, Fadnavis dismissed these speculations. He clarified to the media, “The speculation about me becoming the national president of the BJP was started by the media and remains only within the media. There is nothing to it.”
The Deputy Chief Minister was speaking to journalists after attending a meeting of the Nagpur District Planning Committee. Despite the rumors circulating among political leaders at the meeting, Fadnavis addressed the topic directly, stating that he will not be taking on the role of national president. This also indicates that for now, Fadnavis will continue his work within the state and has no immediate plans to move to Delhi.
