Digtal week’s Valecdictory Function Held at GNIT

Department of Computer Science and Engineering conducted A Digital week at the GNI campus recently. They condycted its “VALEDICTORY FUNCTION” This function was to mark the successful completion of Technical Workshop organised by the  Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with the IT-NetworkZ Infosystems Pvt Ltd. This valedictory function was unique one as it blended many techno savvy activities.

Prior to this concluding ceremony, students displayed their projects. And the best one was choosen by the panel after through inspection. The panel included Principal Dr. Narendra Kanhe  GNIT, Tanpreet Kaur Tuli MD GNI and Dr. Sanjeev Shrivastava  CEO, GNI  who also were the dignitaries for the function. A team from IT-NetworkZ was also present along with its Operations Manager, Deepak Dhote and HRM, Snehankita Fadanvis.

The event started with a tribute to the Former President of India , Late Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam to mark his birthday. The documentry was an fantastic effort by Mohit Paroche (Student VII sem). Following this was the introductory remark by Reena Thakur, H.O.D in which she briefed about the workshop, its objectives and different phases involved in it. Snehankita Fadanvis focused on the need of such workshop, she also gave an equal weightage to manners and etiquettes.

Students received a very precious guidance from the Principal, when he stressed on the application of knowledge. Sardar Navneet Singh Tuli imparted students with the passion to acquire knowledge by developing curiosity and interest for the subject and urged students to enjoy their venture and be happy with the work they do.

Concluding session included Appreciation letter and Microsoft Training Certificate distribution in which students were rewarded with certificates and enermous prizes. But the most promising reward was the scholarship to 6 students for Microsoft Training.

Winners of the engineers week were Rasika Wadegaonkar, Rishab Nimje, Mohit Paroche and Anshul Wakodikar ,and winners of the digital week were Saikat Mondal, Ajinkya Bhushan, Gayatri Keselkar, Subhashini Sahare and Pooja Bhadoria. Prof. Neeranjan Chitare proposed the vote of thanks.
