Nagpur: A dismissed security guard of a MIDC company attacked his senior colleague with an axe and injured him seriously. The accused guard has been booked by the cops.
According to the police, the victim Ramrao Maruti Aade (65), resident of Plot No. 12, Mohade Layout, 8th Mile, Amravati Road and the accused C C Singh, staying at Plot No. 51, Arvind Company, Central MIDC, were working as security guards in the same company. However, for some reasons, the accused C C Singh was fired from the service and since then he held a grudge against Ramrao. On Tuesday around 4 pm, the accused accosted Ramrao and attacked him with an axe on his chest and shoulder. The aged Ramrao received grave axe injuries and was hospitalized.
MIDC API Shivurkar, acting on a complaint of Ramrao, has booked the accused C C Singh under Section 326 and searching him.
