Nagpur: DJ player Ritik Ramteke (22) was arrested on Thursday by Pardi police for raping a 16-year-old neighbour for over three years from 2021. The case was registered after the family members of the minor came to know about the exploitation.
Ramteke is learnt to have forced the girl to have physical relationship at different places, including at her home when it was empty. He had also taken her out to different places to force himself upon her.

The 16-year-old victim in her complaint stated that Ritik was known to her. He took her to his house and sexually assaulted her, she added.
Following the victim’s complaint, police registered a case under Sections 376, 376(2)(n), 376(2)(j) of the Indian Penal Code against Ritik and arrested him. Further investigations are underway.
Man booked for sexually exploiting college girl
MIDC Police booked a 30-year-old man for allegedly sexually exploiting a college girl by promising to tie the nuptial knot with her. The accused, Ashwin Chinchulkar is a resident of Dattawadi. The 23-year-old victim told police that Ashwin befriended her on Facebook.
In August last year, he proposed to her for marriage. He then took her to a hotel in the MIDC area and established a physical relationship without her consent. When she insisted on marriage, he threatened to defame her in college.
Police registered a case under Sections 376(2)(n), 506 of the IPC against Ashwin and launched a search for him.
