Nagpur News : Jaripatka police has arrested Ayurvedic doctor Kuntal Jambhulkar on uesday who was booked for abetment of his former lover’s suicide. He was produced in the district court on Tuesday afternoon and was granted police custody for one day.
Jambhulkar, a resident of Satyam Apartment, Panchasheel Square, had gone absconding since after the woman had alleged his name in her dying declaration and police registered a case.
The woman had set herself ablaze at her Jaripatka residence on Sunday afternoon. She died during treatment at Mayo hospital on early Monday morning. She was working with a nationalised bank at Butibori.

The woman had mentioned in her statement to police that Jambhulkar betrayed her in love and forced her abortion assuring marriage promise. She told that he even leaked her obscene videos at social networking sites and spread it to her employees who started questioning her about the videos. Thus, embarrassed by Jambhulkar’s act, she chooses to end her life but has blamed Jambhulkar responsible for her suicide.
