Dosani demands Maharashtra Government to provide 12 per cent reservation on Kerala line

Nagpur News: Social worker Hyder Ali Dosani has been elected President of Maharashtra Muslim Vikas Manch. A meeting office-bearers of the Manch was held at Sansukritik Sabhagruh (Cultural Hall) located on Katol Road.

The newly elected President Hyder Ali Dosani and other office-bearers immediately passed a proposal unanimously demanding the Maharashtra Government to provide reservation for Muslims on the lines of Kerala Government. The Kerala Government has been giving 12 per cent reservation for Muslims in all fields since 1982. The Manch also supported Dosani’s demand to Congress High Command for setting up of Muslim Education Promotion Board by writing a letter to top Congress leaders.

The other office-bearers who were present in the meeting include Mirza Pervez Beig, (Hinganghat), Abdul Sattar Sumar (Daryapur), Nasir Khan, Sayyed Abid, Ali Korapna, Arif Mirza (Nagbhid), Rafiq Sheikh (Gadchandur), Sohel Sheikh (Shegaon), Naeem Aziz (Wani), Sajit Sharif (Pandharkawda), Mirza Afzal Beig (Digras), Sayyed Gulab (Umarkhed), Shoeb Akhtar (Kannou Wardha), Aslam Beig (Majri), Abdul Rahim Guddubhai (Girad), K M Siddique (Hinganghat), Pervez Khan (Bhandara), and Nazim (Arvi).
