Nagpur: Atharv Burde and Isha Adhikari of Delhi Public School (DPS) MIHAN Nagpur brought laurels to the city by securing Medals at the 7th SQAY South Asian Championship held at Sports Stadium Kathmandu, Nepal recently organised by the International Council of SQAY.
Atharv Burde won the Gold medal in under 18 boys K-3 event, while Isha Adhakari won the Silver medal in under 18 girls Aero SQAY event. Atharv Burde has been selected to represent India at the Asian Championship to be held at Malaysia.
Nidhi Yadav, Principal DPS MIHAN, congratulated the medal winners and wished them luck for the upcoming events. She emphasized along with academics, sports are an important part of the curriculum for the development of the students. She highlighted the vision of President and Pro Vice Chairperson Tulika Kedia who ensures the best academic and sporting facilities with ample opportunities are provided to the students for their holistic development. She also thanked the Director Savita Jaiswal for her constant guidance and support.
Atharv Burde and Isha Adhikari were trained under the able guidance of DPS MIHAN Martial Art coach Mehboob Ansari.
