Nagpur: Delhi Public School MIHAN marked the 75th Republic Day with a spectacular display of patriotism and cultural diversity. Lt Colonel Ran Vijay Singh Retd. PMJF, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, unfurling the Indian Tricolour. Ms. Nidhi Yadav, the Principal, and the entire staff were present.
President and Pro Vice Chairperson, Ms. Tulika Kedia, and Ms. Savita Jaiswal, Director of DPS MIHAN, extended their greetings to the staff and students. Lt Colonel Ran Vijay Singh Retd. PMJF, shared insights on unity, diversity, and patriotism, emphasizing their role in shaping responsible citizens.
The program featured a Patriotic Poem recitation, a patriotic song, and a speech highlighting the day’s significance and the sacrifices made by national heroes for freedom. The Republic Day Parade showcased students marching with precision and discipline, honoring the national flag and the unity of the nation.
Cultural elements were added with students from different houses captivating the audience with folk dance performances in the Inter-House Dance Competition. Ghoomar, Bhangra, Ghondhal, and Bengali folk dance highlighted India’s rich cultural tapestry. The competition was judged by Ms. Awanti Bhondwe & Ms. Megha Parate, while Ms. Dhwani Pradhan and Mast. Arsh Deoghare anchored the entire program.
