Nagpur: Well-known gazal composer Dr Rupesh Deshmukh has been awarded the Late Jairam Gaikwad Ghazal Gaurav Sanman Award 202 for his work G, ‘Ho, Nahichya, Umbarthyawar’ (On the Threshold of Yes, No.), the anthology of Ghazal.
The award will be conferred on Dr Rupesh Deshmukh on 18 January, 2022 at the hands of noted Sahitya Academy Awardee Dr Sadanand Deshmukh, also known as Baromaskar, at the Jairam Gaikwad Auditorium, Buldhana.

Dr Rupesh Deshmukh is an assistant professor of English at Rohana College, Arvi. He has been writing a regular column in several newspapers, literature devoted magazines and journals.
