Drawing contest held at Narrow Gauge Rail Museum

Museum pho-3Nagpur: A drawing contest for school students was organized at Narrow Gauge Rail Museum, Motibagh, Nagpur by South East Central Railway (SECR). The event was held to mark completion of 13 years of Narrow Gauge Rail Museum.

Tanuja Kansal, President of South East Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organization (SECRWWO), Nagpur Division, announced first prize of Rs 1000, second prize of Rs 750, third prize of Rs 500 and two consolation prizes of Rs 400 each.

In the Primary Group, Nandini Sunil Sharma of Gurugovind Singh School bagged the first prize while Harshita Kumar of Gurunanak Primary School and Jay Sharma of Gurugovind Singh School won second and third prize respectively. The consolation prizes were claimed by Nayan Bodele and Samaksh Lade.

Museum pho-2Ansab Zohra of Kidwai High School got the first prize in Middle Group. Nida Farhin Sheikh of Gurugovind Singh School and Arpita Tedulwar of Gurugovind Singh School stood second and third respectively. Sana Parvin and Bhola Chandra were awarded consolation prizes.

Museum pho-1In Higher Secondary Group, Gulnaz Parvin of Kidwai High School won the first prize while Nida Farhin Iqbal also of Kidwai High School and Sakshi Yadav of Bhola High School stole the honour of second and third spot respectively. Mihir Fakirde and Krunal Ganesh had to be content with consolation prizes.
