The Christmas weekend for Dunki gets over today as the film gets away with a fairly good total in Kitty. The film has earned a respectable total of over 120 crore nett in India over the holiday weekend. The Thursday release decision has added those extra 10-12 crores to its numbers.
The Shah Rukh Khan starrer has seen decent collections across the country, with multiplexes in Urban City contributing the most to its income. The single screens haven’t really performed well, but there are some reasons for that, and the clash with Salaar makes it more difficult for the film.

Dunki scored approx. 21.50-22 crore nett on Monday, which was a Christmas holiday and certainly the last big day for the film. The drop came in the morning shows and then the night shows as the major holiday weekend gets over today. The overseas total stands at approximately $11.5 million, and it will continue to hold well there until the New Year’s weekend is over. Rajkumar Hirani‘s directorial will have to show a strong hold on weekdays for the long run.
