East, North and Parts of South Nagpur to receive restricted or no water supply on May 6

Nagpur: Due to strong wind and incessant rain in the evening there has occurred a major power failure at the upper sub-station of Kanhan Water Treatment Plant (WTP).

Till now the fault is not identified and there is no clear water pumping since last one hour. The power fault identification and further rectification may take more time. MSEDCL team is on job.

Due to this power failure the Kanhan feeder line ESR’s will not receive required water and hence the water supply to North , and South eastern part to Nagpur will receive restricted or No water on May 6 morning, informed a Press release.
