EC appoints IPS officer Pandey as Central Police Observer for Nagpur

Nagpur: The Elections Commission of India has appointed Arvind Bhushan Pandey, an IPS officer of 2009 batch, as Central Police Observer for Nagpur Lok Sabha constituency. Pandey arrived in the city and also took stock of the poll situation and law and order from the officers concerned.

Arvind Pandey is Commandant of 25th Battalion, Rai Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh. For voters, he will be available at Ravi Bhavan Cottage No 1, to redress their grievances.
