Chennai: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday raided the office of Chess Global Advisory Services Private Limited in Chennai which reportedly belongs to Karti Chidambaram, son of former finance minister and senior Congress leader P Chidambaram.
Sources said the raid was conducted in connection with the foreign exchange violations by Advantage Strategic Consulting (P) Ltd and Vasan Healthcare – companies with which Karti was reportedly associated earlier. The sleuths are trying to unearth whether these two companies are having any link with the Chess Global Advisory Services Private Limited or not in terms of foreign exchange violations.
