Nagpur News: Editor-in-chief of Marathi newspaper Deshonnati, Prakash Pohare was finally arrested this morning at Akola by the police, detail news is awaited..
It may be noted that the Nagpur police have booked the editor-in-chief of Marathi newspaper Deshonnati, Prakash Pohare, and his bodyguard, Harikrishna Triwedi, for the murder of an employee.
Rajendra Krishnaji Dupare was a security guard at the paper’s printing press unit near Gondkhairi village on the National Highway no. 6.
Pohare had ordered the removal of some employees a few days ago.
“Mr. Pohare asked some of the workers present at the unit to leave and told them that their final dues have been sent to their home. He asked his bodyguards to push the workers out of the unit and a scuffle ensued. Triwedi, fired a shot, killing Dupare,” PRO of the Nagpur Rural Police Vijay Pande told The Hindu over phone.
Triwedi was arrested and Pohare was at large.
