Elder brother attacks man over property share in Kotwali

Nagpur: A middle-aged man was attacked and injured by his elder brother over a dispute on property share in Kotwali police area on Thursday afternoon. The accused also threatened the victim of dire consequences.

The complainant, Deepak Mahadevrao Jadhav (37), resident of 333, A/319, Shivaji Nagar, near Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kotwali, told police that his elder brother Raju Mahadevrao Jadhav (44), resident of Vaishnavi Apartment, Chitnispura, Mahal, and his brother-in-law Ajit Nikam (40), native of Pandhurna, picked up a quarrel with him over share in property around 3 pm on Thursday. During the wordy duel, the accused Raju Jadhav and Ajit Nikam attacked Deepak and hit him on his nose and other parts of body hard. The severe beating left Deepak injured seriously. The accused also threatened Deepak of dire consequences.

Kotwali ASI Manoj, based on the complaint of Deepak Jadhav, booked the accused Raju Jadhav and Ajit Nikam under Sections 325, 504, 506, 34 of the IPC and probing the matter further. No arrest has been made in the case so far.
