Eleventh standard student hangs self over depression

Nagpur News: An eleventh standard student of science stream committed suicide by hanging himself at his Rajiv Nagar residence on Tuesday afternoon.

Shantanu Ghule was the alone son of his parents-Pradeep and Anagha. Police said he belonged from a well educated family. His father Pradeep is a principal at ITI in Yavatmal while his mother Anagha is a teacher at Saraswati Vidyalaya at Shankar Nagar.

No suicide note was found by police. However, Anagha told police that he seemed to be depressed from last week and would avoid talking to anyone. Police has seized his cell phone. A case of an accidental death has been registered at Sonegaon police station.
