Nagpur: Authorities at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport on Monday received an email threatening to blow up the premises, triggering a frantic search across the facility, officials said. However, no suspicious materials were found at the airport.
Recently, such threats have become a common trend across the country. A couple of days ago, similar threats were issued for Mumbai and Kolkata Airports. On Monday, along with Nagpur, airports in Agartala, Varanasi, and Chandigarh also received similar threats.
Meanwhile, authorities have registered an offense. Investigations are ongoing to nab the culprits.
