Nagpur: Following the death of an engineer at HCL Technologies due to cardiac arrest in the company washroom, HCL Tech issued a statement claiming that they care for employees and that various medical facilities are available on-campus.
Nitin Edwin Michael, a 40- year-old senior analyst at HCL Technologies, died from a cardiac arrest on Friday. An HCL Tech spokesperson said, “This is an unfortunate incident and a tragic loss. We extend our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased employee and are providing all possible assistance to them.
In this incident, the employee received emergency support at the campus healthcare clinic and was rushed to the hospital. The well-being of our people is of utmost priority, and HCL Tech provides healthcare programs for all its employees and their families, including on-campus clinics and annual preventive health checks.”
