Earlier in their escapade, the six undertrial juvenile delinquents had fled to Gondia in a stolen auto-rickshaw. A confrontation with the police ensued near Kudwa Chowk on Gondia-Tirora Road, resulting in an altercation where the juveniles armed with sharp weapons evaded capture.

Subsequently, a pursuit by Gondia Police was cut short as the stolen auto-rickshaw met with an accident near Dr Karlekar’s Hospital close to Mama Chowk. Seizing the opportunity presented by the narrow lanes, the juveniles managed to evade the pursuing officers.

Having returned to Nagpur, the gang resumed engaging in various criminal activities. The City Police have initiated a search for the remaining five juvenile delinquents, emphasizing their involvement in serious crimes. Cases against them have been registered at police stations in Gondia, Hudkeshwar, Kapil Nagar, and Sitabuldi, reflecting the gravity of their actions.
