Every year Cadence Academy churns out many fashion designers and interior decorators from their various branches spread across Nagpur. The students are taught all the nuances of the trade, the in-thing, the latest trends in fashion, preferences of leading models et al.
In order to provide a platform for the newly graduated fashion designers, a Ramp rage is organized by Cadence in association with Balaji Entertainments. The audience also had the pleasure of experiencing the oomph quotient of celebrity guest Zoya Afroz, the former Miss India and “The Expose” movie fame walking the ramp during the show.
Owner of Balaji Entertainments Group Chairman of L-7 Group Ravi Agrawal, Sanjay Kukreja and Managing Director of Cadence Academy Rupesh Kumar addressed the press meet.
The academy has organized 13 such ramp rages till date. This year was not different.
The students had designed apparel for the models keeping in mind the latest trends, fashions with an array of different kind of material which ranged from Chiffon, Georgette to Veil to Satin to Denim.
They had used all their innovative skills, merged it with their own talents and acquired skills.
Ramp Inferno 2014 is an annual event of Cadence Academy.
Managing Director of Cadence Academy Rupesh Kumar said that this is the 14th year of organizing the event.
Different themes were chosen by different branches, each trying to outdo the other. The sequences of the events, were Wardhman Nagar Centre presented “Modern twist” and “Graceful back” fashion sequences. The Dharampeth Centre presented “Mummies Night Out” and “Flavours of India” fashion sequences. Likewise Sadar presented “Whimsical Layers & Royal Folds” and Medical Square Centre presented “Illuminati” fashion sequences.
This year, in order to spice the show and to keep the audience drawn to the stage, they had added some dance sequences too. Dazzling dance performances and eye catching phenomena were witnessed during the event. All the performers were from Kolkatta.
Heartthrob songs got crooned by Vijay Prakash which enthralled the crowd. Models Manani Chaudhari, Namrata, Deboshmita Banerjee, Deboshmita Bose, Tamori, Deepshika, Anamika and Priyanka Mondal set the stage on fire with their walks.
