Nagpur: Sadar area remained abuzz with the news of molestation of a 21 year old girl on Monday. The police have lodged a criminal case against seven members of the concerned family.
Police sources said that a member of named Sumit Vaishnav befriended the girl on facebook. Later Sumit called the girl at Seminary Hills and other places to meet and allegedly molested her there.
Later, the accused met the girl at Narendra Nagar and took her to his Anand Nagar residence where he locked the girl in a room. As per the victim’s statement, other accused abused and threatened her at the house.

The accused are identified as Sumit Bijendra Vaishnav (32), Nandakishor Vaishnav, Satyabhama Vaishnav, Atul Vaishnav, Sachin Patil, Hemant Mandhal, Aniket Madan Thool, all residents of Anand Nagar, Sitabuldi.
On the basis of complaint, Sadar police have registered the case u/s 354 (a) (a), 342, 294, 506 (b) and 34 of IPC.
