Fadnavis claims technical glitch in few EVMs in Bhandara-Gondia; alleges all votes turn to NCP

Nagpur News : BJP President ( Maharashtra State ) Devendra Fadnavis in a press meet alleged that Congress-NCP is playing dirty tricks once again. He alleged that 10 Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) were found tampered with and whichever button is pressed the vote was going to Praful Patel. He alleged that many machines did not show light or respond to Nana Patole button even one presses the button against his name.

He informed that they have filed a written complaint to current chief election commissioner (CEC) of India Veeravalli Sundaram Sampath. They are also going to meet him personally and request him to get all the EVMs checked. He added that till such time as when the credibility of each EVM is established, voting should not be held in Bhandara. Devendra Fadnavis claimed that this is making a joke out of our democracy.

Fadnavis added that theParty is not happy with just 330 machines but all the machines.  He added that cases should be filed against all those officials instrumental in this tampering and they should be jailed. He added that a fact finding committee should investigate if Praful Patel is any way instrumental in this tampering. He claimed that is the reason that BJP wanted a paper back-up of the EVMs. He said that final verdict of the case filed by Banwarilal Purohit which went up to Supreme Court could not come out in time.
