These societies proffer almost 90% finance for capital investment and help entrepreneurs of the area, said Devendra. It is the presence of such banks and societies that has led to the progress of ‘developed areas of the state’ he pointed out, obviously referring to Western Maharashtra. He was candid enough to admit that such societies have often closed down in Nagpur area.
But this society that is going to be managed by South Nanded MLA Hemant Patil and Mrs. Rajashri Hemant Patil is going to operate on a different objective. It will help ‘bachat gat’ ( small savings scheme) that have been framed specially for women. It will help women in rural areas also.

Fadnavis wished them the best and hoped that they would grow into a strong movement for the benefit of the backward areas of Vidarbha.
