Nagpur: Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM), an autonomous college affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, will hold its 2nd Graduation Ceremony at the College campus on October 21, 2018 at 5 pm.
The Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will be the chief guest while Governor of Tamil Nadu and Chairman of RCOEM, Banwarilal Purohit will preside over the function. Dr. Sidharthvinayak Kane, Vice Chancellor of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University and Padma Shree Dr. N. Vedachalam, ISRO’s Distinguished Professor and member of the RCOEM Academic Advisory Body will be the guest of honours. The ceremony is to honour the graduates of 2016-17 and 2017-18 batches.
The prestigious Ramdeobaba medal for excellence in academics will be awarded to Jainita Sinha of Computer Science and Engineering of 2016-17 batch and Shrutika Patel of Electrical Engineering of 2017-18 batch.
Additionally, 25 students from the two batches from various branches will be awarded gold and silver medals for achieving 1st and 2nd positions, respectively, in academics. Over 2621 students from 2016-17 and 2017-18 batches of BE, MTech, MBA and MCA will be awarded their degrees during this ceremony.
For the graduates of the two batches, the college has made provisions to register themselves on the college website www.rknec.edu. Committees have been formed for the smooth conduction of the 2nd Graduation Ceremony. Faculty In-charge of the 2nd Graduation Ceremony, Dr Dinesh Zanwar, has requested the graduates to attend the event.
