Fatal Clash Over Food: Labourers from Chhattisgarh, MP Allegedly Kill Colleague in Nagpur

Nagpur: A dispute over cooking chicken and fish turned fatal in Sonegaon, Nagpur, as labourers from Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh allegedly killed their colleague at Surya Residency in MIHAN City. The incident occurred on Thursday, claiming the life of Lambu alias Shivam (30).

The suspects, identified as Jitendra Balaram Ravate (35) from Vitaal village, Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh; Akhlesh Dhodulaal Sahare (28) from Attakot, Seoni, Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh; and Deepak from MIHAN Nagpur, were arrested by police.

According to reports, all four worked as construction workers at Surya Residency. The altercation took place around 1 am, stemming from an argument over food preparation. During the dispute, the suspects allegedly attacked Shivam with heavy stones, resulting in his death.

Shivam was rushed to AIIMS Hospital at 9 pm but was pronounced dead upon arrival. Police have filed charges under Section 302 and 34 of the IPC, with investigations ongoing.
