Mona had been struggling with a mental illness for several years, and her family had been trying their best to provide her with proper care and treatment. Suraj, her brother, had been diligently looking after her during this period of treatment. However, sources suggest that despite his sincere efforts, Mona’s mental health had been on a gradual decline.

As per preliminary investigations, the burden of caring for his sister’s deteriorating condition seems to have taken a toll on Suraj. The mounting frustration allegedly led to a horrifying outburst, resulting in a brutal attack on Mona that tragically claimed her life.

In the second such incident reported from Jaripatka Police Station, a minor boy reportedly killed a rag picker using a sword.

In both cases, the police have registered murder cases and rounded up the accused at the respective police stations. Further investigations are ongoing.
