Nagpur: A father-son duo has been booked on the charges of molesting a woman and threatening to burn her face with acid over a matter related to a temple in Hudkeshwar area. The accused have been identified as Govind Rokde (60) and Ashish Govind Rokde (30).
The victimized woman, aged 35, in her complaint to police said that the accused father-son duo barged into her house around 7 pm on June 17 and started creating ruckus. The accused blamed the woman that because of her the Treasurer of a temple is not handing over them the keys of the temple. Amidst the wordy duel, the accused caught hold of her hand with a bad intention and threatened to burn her face and body with acid. Moreover, when the woman was going to Koradi’s Shree Mahalakshmi Jagadamba Mandir the accused Ashish Rokde trailed her in a menacing manner.
Hudkeshwar PSI Totewar, based on the woman’s complaint, has booked the father-son duo under Sections 354(D), 504, 506, 34 of IPC and investigating the matter further.
