Nagpur: Five builders from Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh were booked for duping a Nagpur developer of Rs 2 crore on pretext of selling him two flats on the 18th floor of an apartment in Mumbai.
Reports said Santosh Tiwari, director of a real estate development firm at Gokulpeth, Nagpur, had paid the amount to the Mumbai firm for purchasing the property at Senapati Bapat Marg in 2016. The deal was not finalized and the transfer of the property sold could not materialize.
