Nagpur: The Bombay High Court has notified the designation of 28 lawyers including four from Nagpur as Senior Advocates with effect from July 18, 2024. The following lawyers have been appointed under Section 16 (2) of the Advocates Act, 1961 as per the Rules framed by the High Court.
The four lawyers who have been designated as Senior Advocates are: Mohan Madhukar Sudame, Firdos Mirza, Akshay Anil Naik and Devendra Vilas Chauhan.
Other designated Senior Advocates are: Manjula Rao, Abdul Majeed Memon, Seema Nilkanth Sarnaik, Harshad Vasantrao Nimbalkar, Deelip Nivrutti Patil (Bankar), Cleofato Garrett Almeida Coutinho, Sudeep Ratnambardutt Pasbola, Rohan Pradeep Shah, Ravindranath Raju Shetty, Prashant Pratap Chawan, Neeta Pradeep Karnik, Carlos Alvares Ferreira, Norma Alvares, Sandesh Dattaram Padiyar, Zarir Pesi Bharucha, Prashant Ramakantrao Katneshwarkar, Subodh Subhashchandra Desai, Devidas Jaidev Pangam, Vinay Amritlal Sonpal, Surel Sunil Shah, Cyrus Dhanjibhoy Ardeshir, Naushad Rusi Engineer, Gautam Ashwin Ankhad, and Simil Suresh Purohit.
