Nagpur: A 19-year-old youth was allegedly attacked with sword by his friends near NIT wachnalaya ground, Mecosabagh on Monday night, following a drunken brawl.
The accused have been identified as Pavan Ganvir (29), Parekh (28), Suraj (28) and Guatam Ganvir.
It is learnt that accompanied with the accused, complainant Akash Rajendra Thapa resident of Christian Colony, Mecosabagh was consuming liquor near NIT wachnalaya ground, Mecosabagh around 8 pm on Monday night. After finishing the drinks the accused asked complainant to accompany them to settle an old dispute. However when the complainant refused, the accused allegedly weilded a sword and attacked complainant.

Followed by the compliant of the survivor, Jaripatka police has registered a case under section 307, 323, 504, 34 of IPC and started the probe.
