Nagpur Today: The Chief Guest Vice President of NECO Group of Industries A.B Pandey while sharing his thoughts and encouraged the students of G H Raisoni College of Engineering said that the students should come forth and participate in such college festivals. He explained to the students that the mantra of success depends on the inner being and not on external factors.
Earlier, the annual fest of G.H.Raisoni College of Engineering Antragni-Technorion 2014 was inaugurated on February 24, 2014. The event marked the beginning of the cultural and technical extravaganza which will last till February 27, 2014.

The Chief Guest who inaugurated the fest was Vice President of NECO Group of Industries A.B Pandey. The other dignitaries present on the occasion were Director of GHRCE Dr Preeti Bajaj, Deputy Director of GHRCE Dr P.B Nagarnaik and Deputy Director of GHRCE Dr A.Y Deshmukh and Gathering In-charge Prof H.S Dalvi.
The ceremony started with the premier of a short Film “Making of Antragni –Technorion 2014”. This was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana. Gathering In charge Prof H.S. Dalvi then summarized all about Antragni-Technorion. Dr. Preeti.R. Bajaj addressed the students with her encouraging speech.
After the speeches, the Chief guest inaugurated “OCEAN Magazine “ the yearly magazine of GHRCE.This magazine depicts the entire journey of the college along with contribution of students, patents filed, achievements, photographs of the events etc.
The inauguration ended with invocation to Godess Durga performed by students of GHRCE.The events that were held simultaneously with the ceremony were mud race where students built their bots to complete obstacle course. Also clay modeling, Android App development and Land gaming were some of the events that witnessed massive participation from students.
The much anticipated events of the day were Street dance, Rock show, and Inter collegiate singing “Goonj”.
There are total 18 events on February 25, 2014. Some of important events are:

5. Inter-collegiate Dance
