Fadnavis, while welcoming the changing perspective of education in India where institutes are focusing on infrastructure apart from providing education, said, “In the present scenario, we should make our students ready to face global challenges. Now students can opt subjects in which they are interested. For example, medical students can learn Art, Commerce students can opt Law, etc. Secondly, we must take into account that we are going through a phase where technology has taken the front seat. No need to be afraid. Instead we must ride on it and operate.”

In his speech, Dr Mujumdar advised students to establish command over three languages viz mother tongue, English and Hindi. He told students the importance of communication which is the key to success. “A true leader is one who has courage, compassion and good communication skills.
