Nagpur: The Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Sunday participated in Prabhat Pheri being organised by Shri Kalgidhar Satsang Mandal, Jaripatka, to mark the 553rd jayanti of Shri Guru Nanak Devji Maharaj. Gadkari arrived at 5 am, garlanded the portrait of Guru Maharaj and then took part in Prabhat Pheri.
The Union Minister praised Shri Kalgidhar Satsang Mandal for organising various religious programmes. “By participating in Prabhat Pheri, I am experiencing peace of mind and happiness. The thousands of devotees participating in Prabhat Pheri in a disciplined manner and chanting the Almighty’s name have been setting a unique religious example. Greeting for Adv Madhavdas Mamtani and all devotees in advance for Shri Guru Nanak Devji Maharaj Jayanti,” he said.
Adv Madhavdas Mamtani, Convener of Shri Kalgidhar Satsang Mandal, Jaripatka, addressing the devotees said that one gets peace of mind, loses irritation, and becomes adjustive. This time one gets pure air being no traffic pollution. Many people complain that Nagar Hari Kirtan disturbs their sleep in early morning. He clarified that luckily those people get the benefit of hearing “Prabhu Gayan” and hearing will remove their sorrows “Nanak Bhagta Sada Vigasu, Sunia Dookh Papu Ka Nasu”.
About 10,000 devotees including prominent personalities participated in Prabhat Pheri.
