Nagpur: The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) machinery is getting ready for the Janata Darbar of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari with a view to resolve complaints of citizens related to civic issues.
The date for the Janata Darbar is set for August 4 and the administration has divided it into two segments for the people of six Assembly constituencies of city. The Janata Darbar to be held at NMC’s Headquarters in Civil Lines will start from 11 am and continue till 3 pm. In the first hour, people from East, North and Central Nagpur Assembly segments would be provided audience with Gadkari.
The second slot is from 1 to 3 pm where citizens from West, South and South West Assembly segments can air their grievances. During the Janata Durbar, Municipal Commissioner Dr Abhijeet Chaudhari and all other officials of the civic body would be present. A communiqué from NMC said that citizens having complaints about civic matters should give it in writing and bring along three copies along with attached documents. A counter is going to be set up on the ground floor of the New Administrative Building of NMC for citizens.
