There is a sense of romanticism in spending a quiet evening alone sipping on a chai/coffee, while engrossed in a riveting book. Two bothers Ashwajit Bahadure and Ashwin Prasad came up with an idea of opening Tapri- The chai book café, where you can lose yourself in words while sipping on chai.

Ashwajit, who is civil engineer has himself designed the café. This beautiful place is decked up with book shelves and beautiful frames. Tapri is a place where the choices are endless. From your classic tea options, like the perfect kadak adrak chai to Assam masala chai – this one’s for the tea-lovers! The food options are equally varied, with options like salads and sizzlers and sandwiches among others.
And if you happen to love books AND tea, this place is a jackpot! Tapri houses books of all kinds – science, fiction, non-fiction, thrillers – you name it, they have it. So if you’re feeling like spending some quality time with books, we recommend checking out the brand new Tapri!
