Gold ornaments and cash worth Rs 3 lakhs stolen from two women’s house

Nagpur:
Unidentified burglars managed to steal gold ornaments and goods worth Rs 3 lakhs 27 thousand (Rs 3,27,000) from two women living in Sadoday Enclave under the jurisdiction of Jaripatka Police Station on December 28, 2016.

According to police sources the victims both residents of Sadoday Enclave, Kadbi Square identified as wife of Zubair Bashir Ashrafi aged 40 years who had locked the house and had gone to visit some relatives in Yavatmal and her neighbor identified as Chachra who had also gone to Mumbai.

In their absence, some unidentified burglars had broken into their house and stolen all the gold ornaments and cash worth Rs 3, 27,500 from their houses.

On the basis of the complaint lodged by the victims, the Jaripatka Police Station registered a case of burglary against unidentified burglars under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code and is investigating further.
