Nagpur: A mobile shoppy on Residency Road was targeted by burglars and cash, cell phone handsets worth Rs 7.93 lakh stolen in the intervening night of April 23 and 24.
The complainant, Juzur Yusuf Mamajiwala (24), resident of Itwari, runs a mobile shoppy named Cell Zone opposite Ashoka Hotel on Residency Road, Sadar. In the intervening night of April 23 and 24, burglars struck the mobile shoppy. The miscreants broke open the shutter lock and gained entry into the shop. The burglars laid their hands on Rs 52,000 cash, 34 mobile handsets, DBR and other goods worth Rs 7.93 lakh. When the theft came to light, Juzur registered a case with Sadar police.
Sadar police have booked the unidentified burglars under relevant sections and searching for them.
