Nagpur: A murder of a criminally-minded youth has come to light in Aradhana Nagar, under the jurisdiction of Nagpur’s Wathoda Police Station on Friday morning. The deceased has been identified as Mayur, also known as “Rapper” Uke. Mayur had a criminal background, with around eight cases registered against him, including theft and burglary.
According to reports, on Friday morning, a woman living next to Mayur noticed his body in the bushes behind his house. The police were informed about the incident. After the discovery of the body behind the youth’s house, the police were notified, and they have registered a murder case and started searching for the accused.

The police conducted a panchnama and sent the body for post-mortem examination, while the search for the culprits is underway.
Mayur’s family includes his mother and a younger brother. It is rumoured that Mayur left his house at 11 a.m. on Thursday. Following a dispute over money, one of his friends allegedly killed him and then dumped his body behind the house before fleeing.
In this case, Wathoda Police have registered a case and begun further investigation.
