Goons open fire near Ambe bar in Kamptee area, two arrested

Nagpur News: In a sensational incidence, few goons opened fire in front of a bar in Kamptee on Monday. Police arrested two in this case while others are absconding.

According to police, the accused Imran Khan and Gendlal Kalse along with Shailesh Meshram and Babu Bhati, opened fire in front of Ambe Bar, near Jaistambh Square in Kamptee area and tried to force enter the bar with an intention to rob the bar. The bar owner immediately informed the police. The DB squad arrested the two goons Imran Khan, a resident of Dahibazar, Itwari, and Gendhlal Kalse, a resident of Kamptee and have launched a search for other accused Shailesh and Babu, both residents of Kamptee.

The owner said that the accused started shouting in front of the bar and tried to create a scene. The bar owner immediately informed Rural Control Room. But, panic gripped the area when teh goons opened fire. According to police, Imran has a past criminal record while Gendhlal’s is an NMC employee.

The cops have registered an offence under Sections 294, 397 and Arm Act 4/25 of the IPC and have arrested Imran and Gendhlal. Cops are digging in the past records of both the arrested goons. Search for the absconding goons is on.
