Government Girl’s hostel celebrates Janamashtami

Nagpur: The festival of Dahi Handi was celebrated in Government Girls Hostel, Katol Road with great energy and enthusiasm. The whole environment was filled with joy and cheer. The members of Rotaract club and NSS unit of Sadabai Raisoni Women’s College, created an aura of festivity by singing songs. Various games were organized for the girls. The girls made a pyramid and after several attempts reached the chocolate-filled handi and finally broke it. A mehndi competition was also organised.

Shivani Nilmalkar, Hostel- Incharge, actively participated in the event. The Rotractors and teacher in charge Dr. Shakti Sharma and Ms.Samiha Khan worked hard to make this event a grand success.
