Mumbai: Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis today asked the Secretary IT and Skill Development to constitute a team of experts involving NASSCOM and other organizations to study the possibility of creating a world class Start up hub in Maharashtra.
The Chief Minister said that the team should first study the existing innovation and startup ecosystem in the State and give its report.
The Chief Minister was speaking at a meeting convened at the instance of Maharashtra Governor CH Vidyasagar Rao at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai to discuss the possibility of creating a Start up Hub in Maharashtra.
Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar, Founder of NASSCOM Harish Mehta, Founder and Executive Chairman of Cyient Ltd Dr BVR Mohan Reddy, Promoters of T-Hub Jay Krishnan and Srinivas Kollipara, Acting Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University Dr Devanand Shinde, Project Director of RUSA Meeta Rajeevlochan, Principal Secretary IT SVR Srinivas, Principal Secretary Skill Development Aseem Gupta and others were present.
