Governor releases Mukesh Sharma’s book ‘ABC of Broadcast News’

Mumbai: The Governor of Maharashtra Ch Vidyasagar Rao released the book ‘ABC of Broadcast News’ at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Monday (20 March). The book authored by former Additional Director General of Mumbai Doordarshan Mukesh Sharma explains basic concepts of broadcast journalism for the benefit of journalists and students. Ramesh Sippy, Bharat Dabholkar, Vikram Gokhale, Grace Pinto, Ram Jawharani and other eminent personalities were present.

The Governor also previewed a short film ‘Sapna’ produced by Door Darshan on this occasion. The film based on the life of a 15 year old girl Sapna Sakhare gives a message of ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’. The film has been directed by Vijay Bhingarde.
