Fact Finding Committee constituted
Nagpur: Spanco Nagpur Discom Limited (SNDL), the company responsible for power distribution in the city is often blamed for irregularities. In the recent times apart from the load-shedding, the power consumers have alleged many serious allegations on SNDL too. The complaints of the power-consumers have reached the government too. In order to investigate the complaints and to redress the grievances of the power consumers, a Fact-Finding Committee has been constituted.
This Fact Finding Committee will submit its report in the next fifteen days. This was said by the Guardian Minister and State Energy Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule while addressing some media personnel.

According to State Energy Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, action will certainly be taken against the company officials if the report of the Fact Finding Committee points out the negligence and irregularities of the SNDL Company.
Bawankule added that he has directed the company officials to sort out the inter-departmental differences, which has caused lack or irregular power supply to many areas in the city.
The dispute between the company officials and its employees has affected the power supply in civil lines too. Considering the regular tiff between the company officials and its employees and the irregular power supply, the MAHADISCOM – Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company has taken back the responsibility of power-supply to Civil Lines area. Similar problems are faced by the citizens of other areas too.
