Nagpur: The National Service Scheme (NSS) cell of Govindrao Wanjari College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur organized a blood donation camp on the occasion of 81st birth anniversary of former MLA late Govindrao Wanjari, Founder President, Amar Sewa Mandal, Nagpur, on 10/08/2017 at college campus.
This camp was organized in association with Life Line Blood Bank, Nagpur. Pravin Sathawane, Camp Manager, Life Line Blood Bank, Ravi Gajbhiye, camp organizer and their team worked hard for success of the event. The programme began with sapling planting at hands of Dr. Hemant Sonare, Director, Wanjari Group of Institutions, Nagpur in the graceful presence of Prof. M. S. Motghare, Principal, GWCET, Nagpur. Dr. C. L. Khobaragade, NSS Programme Officer, Prof. G. R. Agrawal, Prof. R. M. Dahekar, Prof. S. R. Alone & Prof. D. P. Dongre, members, NSS unit took more efforts for the success of this camp. The objective of this camp was to create awareness regarding blood donation & cleaning the myths. The comparing of this programme was done by Prof. D. P. Dongre and vote of thanks delivered by Prof. G. R. Agrawal.
