Nagpur: A 23-year-old youth ended his life by consuming poison at his house following suicide by his girlfriend a month ago. The shocking incident took place in the Wathoda police station area.

The deceased was identified as Akash Vilas Dhore (23), a resident of Plot No. 53, Padmavati Nagar, Umred Road. According to police, Akash was a gym trainer. He was under depression following tragic suicide by his girlfriend a month ago. Since then, he stopped going to the gym.

On July 16 at 1.30 am, he consumed poison at his house. Family members rushed him to hospital where he breathed his last on July 24.

A case of accidental death was registered by Wathoda police.
