Nagpur: The Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court on Monady stayed the transfer orders of GMCH dean Dr Abhimanyu Niswade and Prof Sameer Golawar.
The stay was granted on a PIL filed in the high court by Vidarbha Vaidyakiya Mahavidyalaya aur Arogya Sewak Karmachari Sangathan (INTUC) president Trisaran Sahare against the impugned transfer orders.
It was argued in the petition that the transfer of both the doctors would affect the functioning of GMCH and their transfer orders were politically motivated.

Hearing both the parties in the petition, Justice Bhushan Gawai and Justice Pradeep Deshmukh granted the stay and directed Dr Niswade and Dr Golawar to resume their duties at 11 am on Tuesday.
