Heavy pre-monsoon showers disrupt life

Nagpur News: Heavy showers on late Monday  evening left many areas in the City high and dry. Amidst steep rise in humidity level in the city, residents have been eagerly awaiting the first strong showers of this season.

Despite the cloud cover that has been looming over the city from a week, the rain gods have not shown any kindness till now. The monsoon, meanwhile, hit the Kerela coast and steadily advancing towards Central India.

The mercury on the other hand has been fluctuating since the past one week.

The Met department has confirmed that the monsoons will hit the State by June 5 or even earlier and the heavy pre-monsoon showers like the one on Monday will occur fairly regularly prior to it.

The heavy showers on Monday signalled the fast arrival of monsoon to the state.
