Nagpur – A speeding Sumo vehicle struck three medical students near the Yashwant Nagar Metro Station on Sunday, leaving them seriously injured. The students, identified as Tanvi Indrajit Bhalla, Anushka Bandawar, and Dria Agarwal, were walking towards a restaurant when the accident occurred.
The driver, Manoj Nimje, was taken into custody by the police. The incident has raised concerns about the recurring hit-and-run accidents in the city, highlighting the need for improved traffic safety measures.
The police are investigating the incident, and the students are receiving medical treatment for their injuries. This latest accident has sparked renewed calls for action to prevent such incidents in the future.
