House break at Ajni railway colony, Woman snatches away mangalsutra at Sakkardara

Nagpur News : Unidentified thieves barged into a house at Ajni railway colony and decamped with cash and valuables worth Rs 1.50 lakh, while in another incident a woman slipped with a mangalsutra of another 21 year old woman near Tajbagh in Sakkardara area.

In the first incident, 33 year old Sheikh Sadiq Sheikh Hanif went to Kamptee along with his family to attend a function there. He had locked his house located at Ajni Railway quarter.

Meanwhile, the miscreants broke open the lock and swept away with Rs 27,000 cash and other goods and jewelry. The total theft was pegged at Rs 1.50 lakh. Ajni police have registered the case while the thieves were yet to be traced.

Meanwhile, in another incident 21 year old Tahmeena Bano of Yashodhara Nagar had gone to Tajbagh in Sakkardara area where an unidentified woman bumped into her and snatched away her neckpiece.

Tahmeena rushed to the Sakkardara police station where PI Appa Lengde registered the offence. Further investigation is on.
